LETS MAKE YOUR CHILD UNSTOPPABLEGet our Class Schedule, Prices & Web Specials |
Most martial arts schools throw every age group into the same class. The result is total chaos!
But from consulting with top experts - we know that kids develop different skills at different ages. A 4 year old, a 7 year old, and a 10 year old are miles apart!
We offer that here. Based on child psychology and neurology, we split kids up into specific age groups. That way your child gets EXACTLY what he or she needs to truly flourish.
For thousands of years, martial arts have been a tool for more than self-defense. They've helped kids develop amazing traits like discipline and focus.
In fact, we simply use martial arts as a tool here. It's a tool we use to help your child grow and succeed in life.
That's what it's all about.
Kids become more focused at school, gain the courage to raise their hands and ask more questions (so they learn more), become more respectful to their parents and the rest of the world, and more.
It's truly life-changing.
We’re martial arts experts first and foremost. That’s why, to develop our program, we sought out top experts in children. That includes child psychologists and experts in how kids grow and develop.
We learned that kids develop motor skills and cognitive abilities in stages. So we designed our program to work WITH those stages for the most powerful, fun experience possible.
The result: Fun classes that truly help your child in school, at home, and in life.
With video games, smart phones, computers, and tablets… it’s getting harder and harder for kids to get exercise.
We solve that problem in every class. Every session is a FUN, full-body workout for yourchild.
It keeps them healthy and strong… And even develops balance, coordination, and strength.
Plus, our program is EXTREMELY safe.
In fact, martial arts has a lower injury rate than bowling! (Crazy, I know!) That’s because we put so much effort into stretching, proper technique, and supervision.
Your child will accomplish things here that they may have never thought possible.
They’ll not only amaze you… they’ll amaze themselves.
They’ll realize that they can achieve so much more than they ever thought. And as a result, their confidence in themselves will SKYROCKET.
It’s a truly wonderful thing to see.
You’ll see a confidence that radiates from the inside, and seeps into everything your child does.
All of our instructors go through a rigorous screening process. First, we conduct interviews and background checks to make sure they’re total experts.
Then, we dig deeper to make sure they’re PASSIONATE, full of ENERGY, truly love helping kids, and know how to have FUN!
Kids fall in love with our instructors, and I have no doubt your child will, too. They’re amazing people, and wonderful role models who are there to help your child get ahead in life.
While fitness & fun are the main focuses of our program... kids also learn how to powerfully defend themselves.
No bully will ever cause them fear or humiliation.
But we also teach kids about diplomacy. Talking things out always comes first.
In fact, 9 out of 10 situations can be resolved through the talking skills we teach children. They learn how to peacefully end situations BEFORE they get hostile. But just in case that won’t work, your child will know how to defend himself and escape.
Some kids need to start out slow. That”s fine! They won”t be “slowing down the team” or holding anyone back.
Other kids are ready to rock out and go fast on Day 1. That”s fine, too. They won't have to wait for anyone to “catch up”.
These classes are perfect for kids of all fitness levels. And our community-oriented vibe makes it so ALL kids encourage and support one another. No child ever feels left behind.
3-4 year olds love physical activity and anything involving play. They have a rich imagination and strong desire to be less dependent on their usual caregivers.
With that said, a structured program introducing early skill-based training in Martial Arts can prove to be very successful.
The problem is many children this age have a hard time with structure in a group environment like what is commonly found in most Martial Arts schools. The solution is to provide them with their own program that targets their stage of development in a manner that keeps them entertained while at the same time building skills that set them up for the next age group.
5-6 year olds are the most enthusiastic students.
They love creativity and problem solving, which makes them ideal students in the Martial Arts. The problem is they are so progressive in following tasks that some teachers tend to treat them like their older peers.
This is a problem because they still do not have the basic skills necessary to keep up with children ages 7 and up. The solution is to provide them with their own program that targets their stage of development in a manner that adapts to their social and intellectual curiosity while at the same time building skills that set them up for the next age group.
7-9 year olds are what most people consider "the golden age."
They are proficient in their vocabulary and problem-solving skills, yet they are not at the age where they want complete independence from adults. This makes the teacher-student relationship stronger than ever.
The problem is they still lack core skills, and although they are highly intelligent, they struggle to keep up with students ages 10 and up.
The solution is to provide them with their own program that targets their stage of development in a manner that adapts to their adventurous attitude and youthful nature while at the same time building skills that set them up for the next age group.
10-15 year olds are the smartest students in the school. Yes, they are smarter than most adults!
They are also physically competent and can excel in most physical challenges that are presented to them. The problem is they are so focused on what is socially acceptable that they have a hard time keeping themselves emotionally driven to the task at hand.
The solution is to provide them with their own program that targets their stage of development in a manner that nurtures their social and emotional instability while at the same time building skills that set them up for the next age group.
"We as Parents also Train - Unexpected attacks unfortunately is becoming more common today" "We first chose Frazier Martial Arts because of their Early Skillz program which each of our sons started at age 3. The program gave them valuable lessons on Stranger Awareness and lessons in discipline, focus and respect which quickly translated to better conduct at home. As our sons have progressed through more advanced program levels, they have gained tremendous confidence in themselves because they know how to defend themselves, how to be strong, how to never quit even when things get hard, how to win, and how to lose with grace - and when they lose, how to recommit, get back in there and win the next time. As parents, we see our sons show respect to everyone, obey us at home, and hold themselves to the highest standard in everything they take on in life. As degree black belts, our sons have the pride of knowing they've stuck with a commitment to their martial arts and worked toward achieving life-goals that they will take with them for the rest of their lives. As parents, we have also participated in Frazier Martial Arts' Krav Maga program which has given us the confidence of knowing how to handle an unexpected attack which unfortunately is becoming more common today. FMA's Krav Maga program provides us with much needed physical conditioning, situational awareness, and the ability to quickly react should an attack scenario arise. But most of all, we have remained with Frazier Martial Arts for over 9 years because the FMA owners and instructors have become our family. We always know they have our back, whether we need extra help handling discipline at home or in school, or whether we have questions about our family's safety in today's unpredictable world. They are always there to help us. Joining the Frazier Martial Arts family has been one of the best choices our family has ever made. Thank You Miss Natalie and staff for everything you do for us."
-The Beerer Family
Our 4 year old son has been a student of Frazier Martial Arts in Orange for the past year. We brought my son to karate as we thought it would help him with his coordination, building his strength, to have better awareness and focus as these were areas he was struggling with. Mrs Natalie and her staff, specifically Miss Yesenia, have been amazing teachers. They are attentive to my sons needs and challenge him to push himself to accomplish his goals. They hold him accountable for his behavior which has helped him to be more aware and focused on his behavior. His physical abilities have definitely improved which has increased his confidence. We love that Mrs. Natalie runs a tight ship and her staff transcends her leadership style in each and every class, but they also know how to make it fun for the kids! We are so grateful to have our son be part of Frazier Martial Arts Orange.

“My son has learned not only martial arts, but respect for himself and others.” - Andrea Carter, Mother
Our three sons are students with Skillz. As well as learning martial arts, they are learning valuable life skills, such as focus, the importance of working hard and self-confidence.
While learning these skills they are having a great time! The staff are very nuturing. I also really like the way all of the curriculum, including physical skills, intellectual and social skills, are presented appropriately to the developmental age of the child. We are looking forward to many more years.

I want to take the time to thank Frazier Martial Arts of Orange and instructor Mrs. Natalie Guzman for her dedication and care in teaching my daughter martial arts. More importantly, her program instills moral character development. I visited many martial art studios prior to choosing Mrs. Natalie’s. In fact, I didn’t commit to keeping my little girl at Frazier until after several months of instruction. Mrs. Natalie won me over...
